4 years ago today I released my first track
It was called Invincible God, and it kicked off this crazy musical adventure
Normally I love to celebrate the anniversary of the launch by delving through the events and highlights of the last 12 months, picking out 20 of the most exciting moments and just praising God for His favour in each and every one.
However, I’ve basically spent the last 2 months in pyjamas, dividing my time between feedings, nappies, precious play time – and napping or going for snack & loo breaks while Roo sleeps!
So here’s a low-key throwback of the epic God-sent successes since this day last year:

September: BBC Radio 2 played Journey On
October: After months of hard work from incredible videographer Luke Sutton, the beautiful One More Mountain music video went live
October: I sang in front of the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, who was kind enough to pray with me and encourage me

November: Panoramic launched and was celebrated with live launch parties on United Christian Broadcasters and Premier Christian Radio
December-January: First trimester energy dip kicked my ass

February: Started working with Homegrown Worship and recorded vocals for two tracks (one still in the pipeline!)

March: Fortresses got a lyric video
April: Rob Westall kindly had me on for the launch of his e-series “Social Distancing Live“
May: I was really touched by fantastic album reviews from Cross Rhythms and One Man In The Middle

June: Take Salvation’s Way finished beautifully and released by Homegrown
June: The Sound Angels project began!
July: Branch FM featured a segment about me on air, including an interview and airplay of Take Salvation’s Way
July: Reuben arrived 3 weeks early and changed all our lives for the better!

I have no expectations to look back on a list like this a year from today, unless it includes things like first giggle, first step and first word. What wonderful things can you look back and praise God for over your last year?
