I was so excited to be among the artists handpicked by Homegrown, and it turned out to be such a God-sent partnership because of another exciting arrival developing simultaneously…

As joyous and wonderful as this news is, being pregnant during a global pandemic has kind of put a damp on my musical progress in 2020…
And this is where God got really clever. Before anyone knew how different this year would be (for the world, and the Shiptons), Homegrown Worship provided me with an opportunity to keep using my talents and passions, to keep collaborating with others in the big Christian music family, and to even be able to release a brilliant new song – while everything else in my musical mission reached a standstill.
Take Salvation’s Way, with its smooth, catchy tune and bold, direct message, is a candid call of urgency to respond to Jesus today.
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to partner with co-writers Rob Tromans and Andy Baker on this beautiful song, and hope it’s a powerful addition to your faith playlist. 🙂
